The Ottawa County Sheriff's Officers in Spring Lake-Ferrysburg are kicking off summer by sharing the "scoop" at an upcoming meet-n-greet on June 9 from 1-4PM. Join them at the Miss Lisa's Ice Cream in Ferrysburg where kids 12 and under can enjoy a free ice cream cone. (307 Oak Street, Ferrysburg) 

Cops and Cones is an informal time where residents of all ages can meet their local law enforcement teams, ask questions and introduce concerns. 

The majority of contact law enforcement has with the public happens during emergencies or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community. Cones with Cops breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed interaction.
