West Michigan Regional Veterans Treatment Court
On May 4, two individuals are expected to graduate from the West Michigan Regional Veterans Treatment Court. The veterans treatment court uses a hybrid integration of drug court and mental health court principles to serve military vets and active-duty personnel. They promote recovery and stability with the help of community, state and federal partners. During the program, veterans are connected with treatment that provides and tools to lead sober, productive and law-abiding lives.
Judge William Baillargeon of the 57th District Court presides over the West Michigan Veterans Treatment Court, serving vets in Allegan, Ottawa and Van Buren Counties.
