Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management continues to monitor the water levels along the Grand River and other areas of the county from the recent flooding. The water levels are expected to recede in the coming week and in an effort to accurately assess the damage that has occurred we are asking businesses and home owners to report any flood damage to Call 2-1-1 community access line between the hours of 9AM-4PM.
Call 2-1-1 provides a connection for the community with resources they need; such as utility assistance, transportation, food housing or clothing. Reporting the recent flood damage will also provide specific information to the damage assessment teams.
