Get Your Walking Team Together - Or Just Plan To Come And Walk

If you're putting a team together, download your team form at miottawa.org/w4w. If you're just planning to come and walk, that's great! Just show up, sign in and Walk the Walk!

We'll see you:

  • Saturday, February 10
  • 8:30 AM City on a Hill, 100 Pine Street, Zeeland 49464
  • The Walk itself consists of a well-marked 2-mile route around downtown Zeeland, with a stop for hot chocolate from the Red Cross of West Michigan, along the way.

Start the morning right with Lemonjello's Coffee and Holland Christian Schools Kitchen Staff's (in)famous cinnamon rolls! Special guest speakers will include Zeeland High School Spanish students reading short, first-person accounts of assistance provided by Walk For Warmth funds and CAA programs. Also Anne Saliers, Community Energy Services Manager, Holland Board of Public Works will speak on partnership and programs with CAA and the Holland/Zeeland community.

Did You Receive This Postcard?

w4w 2018 postcard graphic

Rarely do we receive mail anymore that we actually want! So we thought we'd send you a postcard, personalized and filled with possibility!

The possibility is for you to easily help families in your area that are facing shut-off notices from their utility company. Go ahead, try it - it'll make you feel better!

You can also show off a great poster design from a Coopersville High School student.

It's also possible that you'll join us for the event on Saturday, February 10. We hope you will - along with your family, co-workers, friends and fellow worshipers.

The walk itself is a well-marked, 2-mile route around downtown Zeeland, with a hot chocolate stand halfway around, provided by the Red Cross of West Michigan!
