Marking the 30th Anniversary of the first Walk For Warmth we wanted to go big! We've added an easy way for people to donate to families facing cold hardships this winter, by putting a Donate Now button on our web site! It's easy and it's the same process as buying anything else online - except this gives you the warm fuzzies as you assist a family facing a shut-off notice from their utility company.

Try it while you're reading this! Visit www.miottawa.org/w4w and while you're there consider giving in multiples of 30!

While You're Donating Online - Connect, Too!

  • Find the: walking map, walking team form, individual pledge sheet - miottawa.org/w4w
  • Check our Facebook page for how CAA has affected your neighborhood with our "Did You Know?" series.

This year's event will be held:

  • Saturday, February 10th, 8:30 AM
  • City On A Hill 100 Pine Street
  • Zeeland, MI 49464
  • The walk itself is a 2-mile, well-marked route around downtown Zeeland

Watch For This Postcard In Your Mailbox

Rarely do we receive mail anymore that we actually want! So we thought we'd send you a postcard, personalized and filled with possibility!

The possibility is for you to easily help families in your area that are facing shut-off notices from their utility company. Go ahead, try it - it'll make you feel better!

You can also show off a great poster design from a Coopersville High School student.

It's also possible that you'll join us for the event on Saturday, February 10. We hope you will - along with your family, co-workers, friends and fellow worshipers.

The walk itself is a well-marked, 2-mile route around downtown Zeeland, with a hot chocolate stand halfway around, provided by the Red Cross of West Michigan!
