High demand means more "Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events" classes scheduled

In just two days, over 140 individuals enrolled in the course.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office added two more sessions of the popular "Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events" training. This thought-provoking and engaging class provides strategies, guidance and a plan for living through an active shooter event. Doing the right things can increase the odds of survival.

The seminar is free, but registration is required via miOttawa.org. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age and bring picture ID such as a driver's license or state-issued identification.
