Food Safety 101

This is a FREE 3-hour training program for anyone interested in food safety. Participants will learn about the five major risk factors for foodborne illness and practical ways to keep food safe in any kitchen. Classes are taught by current inspectors, and are fun and interactive! This is an excellent training opportunity for new employees, and it’s also useful for anyone working in a restaurant. This course does not fulfill the Certified Manager requirement outlined in the Michigan Food Law.

All Food Safety 101 classes are located at the Ottawa County Department of Public Health Holland office (unless otherwise noted), 12251 James St, Holland, MI 49424 (Building C, Main Conference Room).
