The Elhart Family is hosting a Hope Bridge Movie Event at Zeeland East High School on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 6:30pm.  The Elhart Family has teamed with the producers of Hope Bridge and The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan to bring this movie to you. Booboo Stewart, who plays Jackson in the Hope Bridge Movie, will be in attendance!  After the screening Mr. Stewart will be available for autographs.

Hope Bridge is a movie and so much more.  This 90 minute film will give you answers to the “why” if you’re struggling with the reason a friend or family member took their life.  It will also provide you visual signs to look for to help loved ones who may be experiencing symptoms of depression.

Mental illness is treatable.  Suicide is preventable.  Hope is real.

The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan has developed a tool called “be Nice.” This tool  is similar to CPR in saving lives. The acronym N-I-C-E stands for:

N=Notice change in behavior.

I=Invite yourself into their lives.

C=Challenge their behavior.

E=Empower yourself to get them professional help.

This Hope Bridge Movie Event will help save lives and may save yours or your son, daughter, mother or father.

The event is Monday, September 28, 2015 at 6:30pm in the Zeeland East High School Dewitt Auditorium (3333 96th Avenue, Zeeland).   The only cost to you is your time.  Please come.  We all need to know the signs of depression so we can save lives.
