The following is an update on the current construction projects within the Village of Milford as of July 18, 2025. Information on construction projects may be found at villageofmilford.org/roads. 

Projected dates and timelines are all weather permitting. Residents directly adjacent to construction zones will have informational flyers distributed throughout the project duration.

 

2025 Roads Projects

Water main and storm sewer construction on W. Huron are nearly complete. Water main service connections are slated to wrap up next week. Flyers will be distributed to residents impacted by the water main work. Peters Road/W. Huron remains closed at General Motors Road.

Milling and paving work on Oakland was completed last week.

Family Drive Water Main Connection Project

Water main installation will continue for the next few weeks on Highland Avenue, Commerce Road, and in Central Park. Traffic control on Commerce Road will use flag control starting next week, weather permitting. Mechanical work at the Family Drive well site will continue for the next several weeks.

Access to the Milford Trail via sidewalk remains closed to pedestrians along Commerce Rd. west of Highland Ave. and alternate routes are required. The trailhead at Family Drive remains open.
