The following is an update on the current construction project within the Village of Milford as of June 12, 2025. Information on construction projects may be found at villageofmilford.org/roads. 

Projected dates and timelines are all weather permitting. Residents directly adjacent to construction zones will have informational flyers distributed throughout the project duration.

 

2025 Roads Projects

Retaining wall construction is complete. There will be a temporary pause in the work while we obtain the necessary EGLE water permit. We anticipate that work will resume in the next two weeks, upon EGLE approval of the permit.

Peters Rd./W. Huron St. is open at General Motors Rd for the remainder of the week while Peters Rd. is closed at Commerce for water main installation for another project.

Storm sewer work on Mont Eagle between Huron St. and the Huron River will continue next week.

Pavement resurfacing work on Oakland is scheduled to begin within two weeks.

Family Drive Water Main Connection Project

Water main installation has resumed on Commerce Road. We anticipate that the water main crossing under Peters Road will be completed this week. Work at the Family Drive well site continued this week. Family Drive will be closed between the Library and the YCMA on Saturday June 14th from 3 pm – 8 pm for watermain installation. Access to the Milford Public Library will remain open.
