The following partial and full closures will be in effect over the coming days due to ongoing infrastructure projects. We appreciate your patience as we continue progress on these important infrastructure improvements.

Peters Rd. – W. Huron St. Traffic Shift

Peters Road will be closed at Commerce Road for watermain installation beginning on Thursday, June 12, 2025 (weather permitting). Access for residents and to Janowski Park will be maintained via General Motors Road to the south. During this work, access to Commerce Rd. will be completely blocked and Peters Rd. remains closed to through traffic.

A future notice will be provided when Peters Road is back open to traffic. Until then, please continue to access via General Motors Road. Please use caution when passing through the construction area on W Huron Street between the Huron River bridge and General Motors Road.

Family Drive Full Road Closure

Starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 Family Drive will be closed to all traffic for watermain installation between the Milford Public Library and the Carls Family YMCA.

All vehicles should be removed from the parking lot near the YMCA and Milford Trail access prior to that time. Any vehicles remaining in the lot after that time will be inaccessible until the work is completed later that evening. Access to the Milford Public Library will not be impacted by this work.

Mont Eagle Intermittent Road Closure

Storm water drainage improvements will be taking place over the coming days on Mont Eagle between Riverside St. and the bridge over the Huron River. Partial closures will be necessary and alternate routes are advised for through traffic. Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed in several days.
