The following is an update on current and upcoming construction projects within the Village of Milford as of July 26, 2024. Information on construction projects may be found at villageofmilford.org/roads. 

Projected dates and timelines are all weather permitting.

 

2024 Road Project - S. Main Street

During the 2024 construction season, the Village has planned a project on South Main Street between E. Huron St. and Shelley Drive to mill and overlay the road surface.

The project is currently scheduled to start the week of August 12, 2024. Notices will be distributed to adjacent residents prior to the start of construction. The project is anticipated to run for a couple of months.

Field Work for 2025 Road Projects

Weather permitting, field crews will be conducting survey and geotechnical work on Tuesday, July 30th on W. Huron between General Motors Rd. and the Peters Road Bridge. Crews will have traffic controls in place and drivers should use caution in the area or seek an alternate route.

Planned construction in 2025 includes drainage improvements & road replacement of W. Huron between General Motors Rd. and Peters Rd. Bridge and mill & overlay work on E. Washington and portions of Oakland St.
