Milford Rd. Closure this Weekend (May 1-4)

Milford Road Closure

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 1, the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Milford Road in Milford Township between Homestead and Old Milford Farms streets to through traffic. The road is expected to reopen to traffic on Monday, May 4, at 5 a.m.

The closure is part of the ongoing resurfacing of the 3.8 miles of Milford Road between Pontiac Trail and the southern Milford Village border. It is needed so the contractor for the project, Ajax Paving, can replace the Arthur Drain culvert that runs underneath Milford Road.

During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be West Maple Road to South Hill to Buno back to Milford Road.
