NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the regular meeting of the Village of Holly Zoning Board of Appeals scheduled on August 3, 2020 at 7:00 pm, will be held electronically as authorized under executive order 2020-129 signed by Governor Whitmer on June18, 2020. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Chapter 157 of the Village of Holly Zoning Ordinance, the Village of Holly Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on a request for a variance of Ordinance 157.009(A)(1) on August 3, 2020 at 7:00 PM (or as soon thereafter as possible) via Zoom meeting.

  1. An application for a variance was filed by Vince Iafono. The property is located at 415 LeGrande, parcel number 01-33-482-003. The applicant is requesting a variance of Ordinance 157.009(A)(1) which requires lots zoned RM to have a minimum width of 100 feet.
  2. An application for a variance was filed by Michal Mills. The property is located at 401 North Street, parcel number 01-33-276-020. The applicant is requesting a variance of Ordinance 157.071(B)(1) which prohibits multi-family (4 units) on property zoned R1B.
  3. An application for a variance was filed by Michal Mills. The property is located at 108 Bevin Drive, parcel number 01-33-226-025. The applicant is requesting a variance of Ordinance 157.071(B)(1) which prohibits multi-family (2 units) on property zoned R1B.

Written comments may be submitted to the Village Clerk/Treasurer, 300 East Street, Karl Richter Center, Holly, Michigan 48442 prior to the hearing.  Or email Deborah J Bigger at dbigger@hollyvillage.org.  All documents pertinent to the application are available for inspection in the Village Offices, located at 300 East Street, Holly, Michigan.

Interested persons are encouraged to attend the meeting. Handicapped persons needing assistance to attend are asked to contact the Village offices at least 48 hours prior to the meeting at (248) 634-9571 during regular business hours.

PRIMARY ELECTION

Tuesday, August 4th

 

 

 

Michigan will hold a state primary election on Tuesday, August 4th to determine candidates at the local, state and federal levels for the general election on November 3rd. 

The Holly Township and Village of Holly primary elections are being held at the Karl Richter Center Gym (300 East Street) with polls open from 7AM- 8PM. 

Please wear your mask to visit the polls.
