Police Blotter: The following excerpts are from Holly Police reports and incidents from the previous week, Monday through Sunday.

Monday, January 20, 2020
4:48 pm – Traffic Stop Warrant Arrest:
A Holly officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was being driven by a 58-year-old Holly woman who had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest for an operating while intoxicating charge with another agency. The driver was arrested and transported to the Holly police department where she was able to post bond on the warrant and was released pending her court date.

Friday, January 24, 2020
1:40 pm – Possession and Use of Stolen Financial Transaction Device:
Holly police officers following up on an earlier report of larceny from vehicles on January 11 discovered evidence that the suspect in the theft of credit cards from a vehicle attempted to use them at a local bank. The officers were able to retrieve bank video that led to the identity of a person suspected in the larceny. Based on their investigation, the case has been presented to the Oakland County Prosecutors office for charges on an 18-year-old Holly man.
