Police Blotter: The following excerpts are from Holly Police reports and incidents from the previous week, Monday through Sunday.

Thursday, January 9, 2020
3:44 pm – Unlawful Posting of Explicit Material:
A Holly woman reported to Holly police that she ended a relationship with a male friend in 2019. She has received information that her former boyfriend’s new girlfriend has posted explicit photos of her on the internet that were in the possession of the former boyfriend. Holly police are investigating. Michigan law 750.145e protects persons from this activity and makes it criminal behavior.

Saturday, January 11, 2020
9:43 am – Larceny from Vehicles:
Two separate victims reported their vehicles were entered sometime after midnight on Saturday morning and items of value removed. Both homes are in the 4000 block of Grange Hall Rd. There was an attempt made by the suspect to use one of the stolen bank cards at a device that has video. Holly police is following up to obtain the video and identify the thief. Please lock all vehicle doors, even on private property and make sure valuables are either removed from the vehicles or not in plain view to help reduce the opportunity to be a larceny victim.

Saturday, January 11, 2020
4:38 pm – Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest:
Holly police came in contact with a person in a vehicle parked in a business lot on N. Holly Rd. The 37-year-old Holly woman had multiple warrants for her arrest from a neighboring community. Holly officers took her into custody on the warrants and turned her over to the warrant holding agency.
