Hidden Holly

#HiddenHolly Game

We're rolling out a new game and we'd love for you to play along! Similar to 'Where's Waldo?', we have hidden nearly 100 Hidden Holly stickers around the Village of Holly. You'll find the majority of them in local businesses and public parks, hidden in plain site.

This is a just-for-fun promotional campaign. Look around! How many of these stickers with our trademark holly leaves and berries can YOU find? Take a picture when you spy one and post it on Facebook or Instagram; don't forget to include #hiddenholly!

Who will be the first person to share their picture of a Hidden Holly?  Thanks to our many business owners and the Village of Holly Parks for participating! 🤩

village sign 2020

They’re finished! They’re here! Three of our new entrance signs were installed this morning, thanks to Bill Carr Signs. You’ll see them at the borders of the Village on North Holly Road and both sides of Grange Hall Road.

Very soon, the DPW will be re-positioning the Purple Heart signs slightly so that they’ll be closer to the road and more prominently displayed. And we’ll add landscaping around the base of each new entrance sign this Spring.

We’re thrilled to see these new signs in place, warmly welcoming residents and visitors to our community.

Snow Requirements and Safety

It's that time of year still, please keep in mind that our snow ordinance is for everyone's safety in the event of a snow emergency.   Our ordinance reads, "No parking on any Village street during a snow emergency. A snow emergency is declared when two (2) inches of snow or more are predicted by the National Weather Service out of Flint or White Lake, whichever is higher.  Parking will remain prohibited until 24 hours after the snowfall has ended." Therefore, in times of 2 inches or more of snow, your car needs to be moved off of the streets.

Thank you for moving your vehicles so that the Village DPW can plow our streets as soon as possible.  Please help us in thanking our Village DPW for all the work they do to keep our streets clean and safe! For questions or concerns please call our DPW at 248-634-2202.  We also ask our residents to help us clear snow from around Fire Hydrants and from their sidewalks.  Thank you for helping keep Village residents safe during snow emergencies!
