Winter Tax Bills Due February 16

Township of Oakland, Michigan sent this bulletin at 02/09/2016 02:18 PM EST

Just a reminder that the 2015 Winter Taxes are due by Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

Payments received after February 16^th will be subject to additional penalty. Please note that postmarks do not apply.

Payments received after February 29, 2016 will be turned over to the Oakland County Treasurer as delinquent with additional penalties and interest.

The Township Office’s will be closed on Monday, February 15^th in observance of President’s Day. A drop box is located to the right of the Township Office front doors for your convenience. Please do not deposit cash in the drop box.

Tax payments are posted on the Township website and can be accessed by clicking Tax Information Search on the following link:

Either enter your property address or parcel identification number. Payments will normally be viewable within 48 hours of processing your payment. Three years of tax history is displayed. Each tax season can be expanded, printed and used for your personal income tax purposes. Please note that the payment date reflects the date your payment was applied against your account, not your check date.
