East Lansing Film Festival's 48/5 contest has expanded to five days and is now known as the Five Days/Five Minutes Film Contest. The contest will run from 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 19 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24.

The Detroit 48 Hour Film Project
The 48 Hour Film Project will return to Detroit the weekend of July 18 - 20. Filmmakers from all over the Detroit area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world for the title "Best 48 Hour Film of 2014".
