Help shape the future of YOUR Oakland County Parks
There's still time to R.S.V.P. for one of next week's workshops! You provide us with your time and feedback, we’ll provide tasty food and a chance to win a family fun passbook! The Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission is conducting a series of free publicworkshops to gather input for setting cost recovery levels for park and recreation services on April 16 and 17 at various locations.
Participants will be guided through a process to provide input on the value and benefit of recreation programs, services and facilities provided by Oakland County Parks and Recreation. The results of the public workshops will be incorporated into current management strategies and budgetary decisions to ensure the continued sustainable stewardship of public funds based on the values of our residents.
You're invited to join us at the workshop that best fits your location and schedule. Workshops will be held:
Tuesday, April 16:
1:30 – 4 p.m. at Lyon Oaks Golf Course Banquet Center in Wixom
6 - 8:30 p.m. at Glen Oaks Golf Course Banquet Center in Farmington Hills
Wednesday, April 17:
9 – 11:30 a.m. at Addison Oaks Conference Center in Leonard
1:30 - 4 p.m. at Waterford Oaks Lookout Lodge in Waterford
6 - 8:30 p.m. at Troy Community Center in Troy
We greatly appreciate the interest and input of our residents and partners - your participation is critical to the success of this project! Hurry! If you are able to attend, please RSVP at 1-888-627-2757 by April 15. For more information, visit DestinationOakland.com or contact Melissa Prowse at prowsem@oakgov.com.
