The Detroit Film Theatre

will be on hiatus during the summer of 2012 in order for vital structural repair work to be done to the marble staircase on the auditorium’s east façade, Crystal Gallery windows, basement dressing rooms and the lower lobby restrooms. Construction will begin June 4th, with a scheduled reopening of the DFT series on Friday, Sept. 14th. We’ll be running the DFT 101 series in the Lecture Hall on selected weekend afternoons, check www.dia.org/dft later this month for a complete schedule.

Register today at MPA Registration to secure a spot for your five-member team. Cost for team of five is $75 in advance. Advance payments can be made through PayPal or via a check given at our April 17 Stunts 101 event. At the door team cost is $80. Individual bowlers are welcome as well; we will place you on a team. Advanced registration cost of individual bowlers is $15, or $20 at the door. Each bowler will enjoy two games of bowling, shoe rental, and 2 slices of pizza. If you do not care to bowl, cost is $5 to attend this event.
