 Hello Immunization Partners,
Please share the following information with staff and colleagues.
We have received several communications from providers regarding the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) not properly forecasting for COVID-19 vaccine when a 2023-2024 Novavax COVID-19 vaccine is administered following mRNA doses. MCIR is calling patients who have received a 2023-2024 Novavax COVID-19 vaccine after mRNA doses up to date, when they still need a dose of 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine (please see screenshot below).
 The MCIR team is currently working on this issue and will send out an additional email once MCIR is assessing and forecasting these doses appropriately.
Providers should follow CDC’s Clinical Guidance for COVID-19 Vaccination | CDC.
