Thrive in an Ever-Changing Mobility Environment

With constant advances in technology, the mobility industry is always evolving. Through a grant from the Economic Development Administration, The Supply Chain Transformation Center–operating through the Global Epicenter of Mobility (GEM) coalition–will focus on making Michigan manufacturers competitive in a new world of mobility.

GEM's goal is to accelerate economic growth by building on the region's mobility assets. It will create a smart, secure, sustainable and inclusive advanced-mobility industry, starting with the transition to next-generation electric, autonomous and fully connected vehicles. Eligible Michigan manufacturers have the opportunity to receive funding that can be used to assist in their mobility transformation, develop their organization and remain competitive.

Eligibility:

  • Must have less than 500 employees
  • Must have 10% of annual revenue in the mobility sector
  • Must be located in GEnesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland Shiawassee, St Clair, Washtenaw or Wayne county
