Nothing beats the taste of summer sweet corn
Summer is the perfect opportunity to savor the taste of sweet corn at the Oakland County Farmers Market. Join market vendors for a Corn Roast from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.
Enjoy a complimentary ear of corn - one per person while supply lasts. Thanks to Prielipp Farms of Britton and Vanhoutte Farms of Armada for donating the fresh corn. Corn will be prepared by Red Wood Grill and served by Oakland County Parks and Recreation volunteers.
Oakland County Farmers Market
The Oakland County Farmers Market is located at 2350 Pontiac Lake Road in Waterford. It is a producer-direct market that hosts nearly 100 farmers and artisans representing 17 Michigan counties. Summer hours are 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. For details, call 248-858-5495.
