Dear Immunization Partners,
Oakland County Health Division would like to share a webinar opportunity with you from the National Minority Quality Forum. Please see details below to join and share with colleagues and staff!
Hello All!
My name is Kristen Hobbs and I am the Senior Project Manager of Quality Improvement and Equity at the National Minority Quality Forum's (NMQF) Center for Sustainable Health Care Quality and Equity (SHC).
NMQF/SHC and AIM/iREACH launched a webinar series that will explore the intersections of total health and vaccinations in historically excluded populations. We've heard from community members that vaccinations are not their only health concern. Thus, we will host a webinar on the last Friday of each month that focuses on a different total health topic and vaccines. Each webinar will include perspectives from experts in the following roles: moderator, vaccine expert, specialist in the total health area of focus, and patient.
March's webinar focused on chronic kidney disease and vaccinations. You may watch it here. These webinars will serve as an interactive development tool during which we will gather real-time feedback from participants for the creation of a detailed microsite that provides education and resources on each topic. The chronic kidney disease and vaccinations microsite can be found here. In addition, the microsites will inform infographics, flyers, social media graphics, etc.
April's webinar and microsite will be focused on Black Maternal Health & Vaccinations. We will hear from a vaccine expert, OB/GYN, doula, and a pregnant person before moving into the interactive feedback segment. I have attached the save the date below. If you would like to register to attend, please do so at the eventbrite link here. You may also share this with your networks.
We look forward to seeing you all as participants next Friday April 29, 2022 at 12pm EST/11am CST.
Have a great week!
