Cooking demonstrations return for a new season
Plan on having a deliciously delightful time with friends and family at the Oakland County Farmers Market this January, February and March during the Cooking with edibleWOW demonstration series.
The seventh season kicks off from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. Watch Chef Allison Anastasio from Last Bite Chef in action as she prepares recipes using fresh, seasonal produce provided by Oakland County Farmers Market vendors. During the demonstration, she will share her best tricks and tips for cooking like a pro. Sample the completed dish while supplies last and take a copy of the recipe home, too.
A collaboration between edibleWOW magazine and Oakland County Parks and Recreation, this year’s cooking series includes the following presentations:
Copies of the recipes will be available at the market and online at OaklandCountyParks.com following the demonstrations. Videos for guests unable to attend the live event will be posted on the Oakland County Farmers Market Facebook page.
The 2022 series will be limited to 80 seats. Face masks are required and are available on site if participants do not have their own. Staff will wear masks. Oakland County Parks is committed to safety and follows COVID-19 health policies implemented by the Oakland County Health Division.
