Join us on Zoom as Oakland County Parks and Recreation Historian Carol Bacak-Egbo will discuss the history of Dixie Highway during Fireside Chat at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9.
Learn how a Native American trail turned into a road and hear stories about the pioneers who settled along what would become Dixie Highway.
This is a free program, limited to 300 participants on Zoom. The chat will be moderated by Oakland County Parks and Recreation staff. Those interested can click on the Zoom link in the Fireside Chat flyer to join the fun.
