COVID-19 Vaccine Update
We know that many employees are curious about the status of the vaccine. The County is currently vaccinating phase 1A which is focusing on EMS workers, skilled nursing homes, healthcare professionals and 1B which focuses on teachers, all first responders, and anyone 65 years old and older.
Over the next two weeks, the Oakland County Health Division will focus on Sheriff’s Department deputies and Children’s Village workers.
Currently, the supply of the vaccine has been limited, as we start to receive more vaccine we will continue to branch out to other essential personnel as allowed. In the meantime, in an effort to understand the demand within our organization, please take one minute to fill out the survey regarding vaccine.
(Sheriff’s Department and Children’s Village employees do not need to take survey)
We will continue to keep you all posted as more information and supply is available. Until then, continue to social distance, wear your masks and wash your hands!
