Reservations accepted beginning May 18
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, regular operations of Addison Oaks and Groveland Oaks Campgrounds require adjustments to ensure guest and staff safety. We have been working closely with the Oakland County Health Division to make these decisions. The opening date of the campgrounds has been tentatively set for June 25, unless Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer extends the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive order beyond May 15, then the opening dates would need to be reevaluated. As of now, both campgrounds will begin taking reservations on May 18 for July 1 dates forward.
The executive orders limited work being performed to essential work only until the beginning of May. Preparation of the two campgrounds to open for their annual season, which runs May through October, was not considered essential work. Therefore, all behind-the scenes preparations required to get the campgrounds operational were delayed. Staff have also been working remotely to make adjustments and refunds to all reservations prior to June 25.
Groveland Oaks Fireworks have been cancelled for this year due to concerns about crowds and social distancing.
To make a camping reservation starting May 18, contact Addison Oaks Campground at 248-693-2432 or Groveland Oaks Campground at 248-634-9811.
To maintain safe and healthy conditions we are working with the Oakland County Health Division to review campground operations and programming. Updates will be provided when they become available. Please visit OaklandCountyParks.com for information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
