Get involved with BMX Racing at Waterford Oaks County Park. A BMX Free Trial Day is from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Waterford Oaks BMX Track.
All ages can join in the fun of this action-packed day. There will be no charge for admission, bike rentals, helmet rentals or track time. Participants can also enjoy inflatable bouncers (must wear socks) and climbing tower.
Participants need to wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants and closed-toe shoes. Bring a peg-free bike and/or full face helmet, if available.
The Waterford Oaks BMX track is located at 1702 Scott Lake Road behind Waterford Oaks Waterpark in Waterford, 248-858-0915.
Waterford Oaks BMX Track
Opened in 1976, the Waterford Oaks Bicycle Motocross track is one of the oldest continually-operated tracks in the world. The .25-mile championship Waterford Oaks track hosts practices, local, state and national races and competitions, with helmet and bike rentals available.
