Celebrate Grandparents Day with us
Oakland County Parks and
Recreation will celebrate Grandparents Day on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 1-4 p.m.
with free, fun-filled family activities at Waterford Oaks County Park’s
Paradise Peninsula Pavilion.
The celebration is the
culmination of the Grand Adventures program, which offered a special booklet
and invited families to visit each Oakland County Park during the summer for
special activities, stickers and stamps. Participants can show their completed
booklets and receive a special commemorative coin.
You don’t have to have
participated in the program to join the family celebration, which includes
inflatable bouncers (socks must be worn), games, cotton candy and sno-cones.
