Gather
your friends and family to enjoy fantastic fireworks at Addison Oaks County
Park on Friday, June
29Â and Groveland Oaks County Park on Saturday, June 30.
Fireworks
will begin shortly after dusk and are open to the public. Daily park entry fee regular rates apply until noon; cost is $15/vehicle after noon. There is free entry for vehicles with a 2018 Oakland County Parks and Recreation Annual Vehicle Permit.
Spend
the weekend at the campgrounds or come earlier in the day to enjoy activities
at both parks before the fireworks.
Among
the weekend activities at Addison
Oaks County Park will be bingo, decorated bicycle parade, magic
show, face painters, inflatables, DJ dance, tie dye, patriotic art, clown, pony
rides, petting zoo, games, wagon rides and bands.
Events vary each day.

Groveland Oaks County Park
the star-spangled fun includes bingo, bike parade, patriotic art, pet portraits, henna tattoos, clown, team games, climbing tower, inflatables, magic show, bingo, big screen movie, face painting, DJ dances and bands. Events vary each day of the weekend.
 Addison Oaks County Park
Addison Oaks County Park is a 1,140-acre natural oasis close to home where visitors can recreate for the day, camp under the stars or explore the park’s rich history. Campers can stay on individual sites or in group camping areas, yurts or cabins. Activities include a 20+ mile trail system for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking; boat/kayak and bike rentals, disc golf, fishing, geocaching, picnicking and group picnic shelters. A 2.5-mile connector trail connects the main park to Addison Oaks East and other nearby recreation areas. The Historic Tudor-style Buhl Estate hosts weddings, banquets, receptions and business meetings.

 Groveland Oaks County Park
Located on Stewart Lake just 1.5 miles east of I-75 Exit 101 in northern Oakland County, Groveland Oaks County Park features large 50’ x 50’ full hookup and modern campsites, group camping areas, eight cabins, four yurts and two Island pavilions for group parties. In addition to Stewart Lake, the park offers a sandy lifeguarded beach, miniature golf, campground recreation programs, pedal boat and kayak rental, bike rental, fishing pier, three large children’s playscapes, skateboard park, bike skills course, basketball and volleyball courts, paved trails and the Blue Water Grill concessions/campground store.
