Meet Spongebob at Waterford Oaks Waterpark this Saturday and Sunday!

SpongeBob SquarePants will emerge from his pineapple under the sea to meet and greet visitors Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. both days at Waterford Oaks Waterpark.
SpongeBob, a staple of Nickelodeon’s
popular cartoon lineup since 1999, will pose for photos near The Big Bucket children's
water playground for 30 minutes at the top of each hour.
The first
200 children in line to see SpongeBob each day will receive Oakland County
Parks souvenir sunglasses.
Blue Water Grill will offer a special
kids menu for ages 12 and under both days of $5 for a chicken tender or
hamburger combo. Blue Water Grill also offers cool treats like Melts ice cream,
Hawaiian Shaved Ice and a souvenir cup with free refills throughout summer.
Admission to the waterpark is
required. Rates are $10/Oakland County resident and $12/regular rate.
Waterford Oaks Waterpark, 1702 Scott Lake Road in Waterford, is open 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
on weekends.
