MICIP Platform Support for Schools Identified for CSI
This technical assistance session is designed to help CSI schools understand and complete the required elements of the MICIP platform for plan submission. Participants will walk through key MICIP functions, learn how to align platform entries to ESSA requirements, and receive practical guidance for organizing goals, strategies, and monitoring components. The session ensures schools feel supported, prepared, and ready to finalize their plans.

MICIP Platform Revisions and Updates Notice
What:
The MICIP 4.0 Platform revisions will start to roll out in January 2026.
When:
- January 22, 2026, roll revision into the Training.micip.org sandbox
- February 12, 2026, Updated Platform Guidance
- February 12, 2026, release revision into the MICIP production site
MICIP Refresher-Virtual Training
What is it?
A one-on-one virtual training with Dot to review the MICIP Platform. This can be for new users looking for a little more support, or veteran users who just need a little "refresher" on spaces in the platform.
If you are interested in a "refresher" contact Dot Blackwell, MDE MICIP Lead, at Blackwelld1@michigan.gov, to set up your session.
What's New in the MiStrategy Bank?
Happy New Year from MDE! All MDE curated strategies in the MSB have been updated with current descriptions, resources and research links. This annual revision process ensures schools and districts have access to high-quality strategies that are up to date and functional for MICIP plan integration. We are committed to meeting your MICIP needs. If you have questions about how to use the MSB, MDE strategies in the MSB or need a hand with creating your own strategy, please do not hesitate to contact Dave Carlson, MDE-Lead for the MSB, who would be happy to assist you.
