Here’s hoping you and yours have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday.

New MICIP Resource From the Field
Kent ISD has developed a Hexagon Tool Companion Document to the NIRN Hexagon Tool that allows continuous improvement teams to document their ratings and rationale for the various components of the Hexagon Tool during the initiative inventory and strategy selection processes.
For each component the document contains the key questions for consideration as well as definitions for the five rating categories. It also provides a place to make notations with the rationale for the rating choice.
Based on the ratings, the tool provides the data for making decisions about the appropriateness of the strategy to meet the district’s needs.
The tool can be found on the MICIP website under Resources, Resources from the Field, Plan.
