Question:
"If we miss some of our district PD does that mean we have to get 180 hours to renew instead of the 150?"
Answer:
Educationally related professional learning hours for renewal always total 150. If you missed some of your district provided professional development, you can make up those hours with State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs). Check out our SCECH Catalog and this list of free and low-cost, online professional learning to find an area of interest!
Question:
"What do I need to do to get recertified?"
Answer:
The response to this question varies depending on the type of certificate you are trying to renew, or whether you are transitioning from one certificate or another. You can find online guidance here:
Do you want specific details or have a "good of the group" question? Submit a question and it could appear in an upcoming newsletter!
