Workers applying for jobless benefits for the first time can get online guidance from trained instructors with the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) who will walk users through the steps they need to follow to qualify for payments.
Virtual sessions are available mornings and afternoons, Tuesday through Friday, and led by trained UIA instructors.

The 10 regional publications highlight top high-demand occupations by education and training levels. Each region’s outlook reflects its unique economic landscape and workforce needs, providing tailored guidance for students, jobseekers, educators and workforce development professionals.

The updated data ensures Pathfinder has the most current education and occupation metrics to assist Michigan’s career explorers. The Michigan Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP) provides training and services that empower people to achieve their individual goals.
If you or a loved one are blind or visually impaired, BSBP will work with you to define your goals and identify appropriate training and services.
Depending upon your needs and eligibility for specific services, BSBP may also provide some types of adaptive equipment, computer software, and postsecondary education.
