July 26, 2024, marks the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This important civil rights law established a clear and comprehensive national mandate for eliminating discrimination against individuals with disabilities and expanding opportunities by reducing barriers, changing perceptions, and increasing full participation in professional and community life.
Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) provides vocational rehabilitation services for eligible individuals with disabilities that are customized to fit their unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities and interests.
MRS works with individuals to help them make informed choices, prepare for and engage in employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency. Learn more or connect with MRS at Michigan.gov/MRS.

Road to Restoration is a free clinic to assist Michigan residents in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Residents who attend will meet one-on-one with Michigan Department of State staff and talk with volunteer attorneys to determine the steps necessary to reinstate their driver’s license.
Road to Restoration is not a DUI/DWI/OWI expungement clinic and license reinstatement is not guaranteed. Reinstatement is assessed on an individual basis in accordance with state law.
