CTE offers college students, including adults seeking a career change, hands-on training that can be applied to real-world training and career pathways. This month, explore the variety of programs across the state that prepare you for successful career entry, advancement and/or continuing education.
Colleges and some universities across Michigan offer CTE programs that are aligned with high-skill, high-wage and in-demand careers in fields such as information technology, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and more.

Black History Month is recognized each February to highlight the crucial roles Black Americans have played in the creation of this nation and increasing the visibility of African American life and history.

Located on beautiful Pine Lake in Barry County, the Michigan Career & Technical Institute (MCTI) is a residential vocational training facility for persons with disabilities.
Their location provides students with a beautiful setting for living and learning the fully accessible campus offers a unique blend of support services for state-of-the-art training for jobs needed in business and industry today.
MCTI offers 12 vocational training programs with current, relevant equipment and technology for entry into a variety of industries.
