Earlier this year, the Michigan State Housing Development Authority expanded its MI 10K DPA program statewide, helping low and middle-income homebuyers overcome the biggest barrier to home ownership: the down payment.

There has been a lot of buzz in recent months about the automotive mobility and electrification industry – and many career seekers wonder how they can get involved. That’s where the EV Jobs Academy comes in!
The Michigan Electric Vehicle Jobs Academy (EV Jobs Academy) supports the careers of tomorrow, today. This new state-led collaborative is developing education and training solutions to meet the advanced automotive mobility and electrification industry’s talent needs.
With more than 100 partners including employers, labor, industry stakeholders and education institutions, the EV Jobs Academy is driving the state’s advanced mobility talent development for the future.
Through the EV Jobs Academy, participants can receive assistance with tuition and supportive services, including “earn while you learn” opportunities through Registered Apprenticeship programs.

The Bureau of Services for Blind Persons Training Center (BSBPTC) is a comprehensive rehabilitative center, specializing in assisting youth and adults who are blind and low vision. Training Center staff work to provide customized training and employment services to help participants address challenges that may pose barriers to achieving their goals.
The BSBPTC is open year round and has accommodations for up to twenty-nine students in twenty-seven private rooms and two training apartments. Accessible rooms are available for those with special needs.
