 March is National Food & Agriculture Month
Michigan's Food and Agriculture industry accounts for about 17% of all the state's jobs. This critical industry contributes $104 billion annually and plays a crucial role in our state's economy.

Michigan Reconnect offers Michiganders 25 years or older with a high school diploma a low-cost path to a college education.
Reconnect pays the remaining balance of in-district tuition and mandatory fees after other state and federal financial aid have been applied.
Students who attend out of-district community colleges will receive a large tuition discount.

The Michigan Electric Vehicle Jobs Academy (EV Jobs Academy) supports the careers of tomorrow, today. This new state-led collaborative is developing education and training solutions to meet the advanced automotive mobility and electrification industry’s talent needs.
With more than 100 partners including employers, labor, industry stakeholders and education institutions, the EV Jobs Academy is driving the state’s advanced mobility talent development for the future.
Through the EV Jobs Academy, participants can receive assistance with tuition and supportive services, including “earn while you learn” opportunities through Registered Apprenticeship.

March is National Reading Month and you can celebrate by receiving FREE audio and braille books from the Braille & Talking Book Library (BTBL)! You don't have to have a visual impairment to become a BTBL patron.
If you have a physical impairment that prevents you from holding a physical book, or if standard print has become difficult to read, you can also sign up!
The library has more than 135,000 audio and braille books. You can get books delivered right to your home or download them through the BARD mobile app – all for FREE!

The Michigan High-Speed Internet Office is eager to hear from YOU about the broadband barriers preventing you or your community from access to affordable high-speed internet. The MI Connected Future tour is aimed at collecting input from Michigan residents on how best to prioritize an estimated $1.6 billion the state will receive to deliver affordable, equitable and reliable high-speed internet service throughout the state.
