The celebration of Black History Month has been important to appreciating and recognizing the crucial roles Black Americans have played in the creation of this nation and their inalienable right to be treated equally, while increasing the visibility of African American life and history.
Take time this month to honor the triumphs and endurance of Black Americans. Whether it be visiting The Wright Museum or walking through the Underground Railroad in Detroit, there's lots to do to honor Black history not just this month, but all year long.
