Resources for employers who are hiring in- & out-of-school youth

Are you interested in investing in young talent in Michigan? 

Join the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity's Office of Employment and Training (LEO-E&T) for a virtual event where resources and information to support employers as they look to hire in- and out-of-school youth are shared. This event coincides with Youth Employment Month and is intended to help employers:

  • Learn about work permits & youth worker safety issues
  • Discover young talent pools in the state
  • Get their questions answered about hiring youth in Michigan

At this event, hear from LEO-E&T, LEO's Wage and Hour Division and an employer with first-hand experience in hiring youth.
