Updates on the 2021-2022 WIOA NexSys Grant Applications

The 2021-2022 WIOA grant applications went live in NexSys last week. To date, there have been minimal problems with the applications. We want to make you aware of a couple issues that the programmers are currently working on.

Instructional Application - Program Offering Screen: The Provider Name does not auto load and creates an error. This error should not prevent submission.

Instruction Application - Add Budget Item page: When adding budget items under the Other category, an error appears that does not allow the use of function codes in the 230s, 240s, 250s (except 259) and 260s. We will let you know when this error has been resolved.

PLEASE NOTE:

• All users must create a MILogin Third Party Account by linking their existing MEIS Account to MILogin and requesting access to MDE Systems.
• The agency’s level 5 must add all users to the applications.
• When adding a budget item to the Purchased Service category, you must include the corresponding FTE/Hours in the budget item description, if applicable.
• Please visit the What’s New section of the Adult Education website for important documents needed to complete the application.
