The final payment date for Academic Year 2025-26 for all State financial aid programs is scheduled for August 12, 2026. To be included in the final payment, awards must be certified and reimbursements requested by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on August 11, 2026. Only accepted requests that are submitted prior to the deadline will be included in the final payment.
For institutions submitting requests via file upload, here are some helpful tips:
- Review the MiSSG File Formats.
- Do not delay! You will need time to review your upload results, which may require evaluating any errors and re-uploading your file.
Note: The final payment for Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship is scheduled for September 9, 2026 and the deadline to certify is 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026.
Thank you to institutions who have completed certifications! A total of 98% of students have been certified since Q3.
Be sure to double check that all students in all semesters/terms have been certified. Below are the most recent outstanding certifications by program:
 Reminder to Submit Reimbursement Requests
Don’t forget to review your students who may still need a reimbursement request for fall, winter, spring, or summer for one of the following programs:
- Children of Veterans Tuition Grant
- Futures for Frontliners
- MI Future Educator Fellowship
- Michigan Reconnect/Expansion
- Survivor Tuition Grant
- Tuition Incentive Program
Do Not Delay
It is critical that institutions have performed reconciliation before the August 11 deadline. Allow for ample time to process students needing adjustments, reimbursement requests, or reinstatements. No additional payments can be issued after Q4 closes.
