Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Update

The Michigan Legislature has passed the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) budget, now awaiting the Governor’s signature. This budget reaffirms the State’s strong ongoing commitment to higher education by continuing funding for State financial aid programs and MiLEAP initiatives for Academic Year 2026-27.

As we reach the new academic year, we’ll continue to share timely updates, resources, and guidance to help you successfully implement program and policy changes.
