As the end of Academic Year 2025-26 approaches, please see below for a summary of important deadlines for both the MI Future Educator Fellowship and Stipend programs:
2025-26 MI Future Educator Fellowship: Key Dates

Monday, June 15: Today is the final day for students to submit a 2025-26 MI Future Educator Fellowship application.

Wednesday, July 1: The last day to confirm Fellowship eligibility (using the ‘Confirmation of Eligibility’ feature in MiSSG) for the 2025-26 Academic Year. Students who are not confirmed by this date will be made permanently ineligible for the 2025-26 Fellowship award in MiSSG.

Monday, July 15: The last day for students to sign the 2025-26 Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement. Students who do not sign their CTMA by this date will not be eligible for 2025-26 Fellowship funding.

Tuesday, August 11: The last day to request reimbursement for a 2025-26 Fellowship award.

Wednesday, August 12: The final Fellowship disbursement date of 2025-26.
2025-26 MI Future Educator Stipend: Key Dates

Monday, July 15: The final day for students to submit a MI Future Educator Stipend application for Fall 2025, Winter/Spring 2026, and Summer 2026.

Tuesday, August 11: The last day to certify eligible students for a 2025-26 Stipend. All students in a ‘Ready to Certify’ status, must have their award certified either as a ‘yes or no’ by this date.

Wednesday, August 12: The final Stipend disbursement date of 2025-26.
