All Academic Year 2025-26 Nonpublic Dual Enrollment payments that have not yet been issued by the MiLEAP Office of Higher Education, including anticipated payments for June, July, and August, will be delayed because the current fiscal year appropriation has been expended.
We know this delay creates challenges, and we truly appreciate your patience and partnership. The State Budget Office has already achieved consensus with legislative leaders on the need for additional funding for the current fiscal year for this program. The needed funds will be included in a supplemental budget for FY26 that is expected to pass concurrent with the FY27 state budget. We anticipate issuing all outstanding payments as soon as the budget is passed.
To ensure adequate funds are requested, please report outstanding Nonpublic Dual Enrollment payment amounts for the remainder of the year; including June and July (for July and August payments anticipated billing requests) by Friday, June 12, 2026.
As a reminder, all Academic Year 2025-26 Nonpublic Dual Enrollment Billing Forms must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026, and final payment for the year will be issued August 12, 2026 (or once the supplemental budget has passed, if it has not already done so).
