We are aware of MiSSG issues that are impacting training provider’s ability to certify students for Academic Year 2024-25 for the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship. We expect these issues to be corrected soon and certification can resume on Monday, September 8, 2025. We will provide additional updates if this date changes.
As a result, we are extending the deadline to certify awards for the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship. All certifications for Academic Year 2024-25 must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on September 12, 2025. Payments will be issued the following week.
Please note, students must have attend for three weeks prior to September 9, 2025 to qualify for payment.
The Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship is only for tuition charges. Training providers should only certify students for cost of tuition up to $2,000.
Additionally, students receiving the Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship should not be charged a different rate than students not receiving the scholarship.
