Action Items
Thank you for continuing to submit certifications and reimbursement requests ahead of the 4th quarter deadline (August 12th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.). We are here to support you during this year-end process.
There are currently 39 institutions who have outstanding certifications that must be completed by the 4th quarter deadline. Please review certification rosters and reach out for assistance as soon as possible to ensure timely processing of payments.
Please submit any final ‘Request for Reinstatements’ and Michigan Achievement Scholarship Quarter 4 Special Processes no later than Monday, August 11, 2025.
Payment Updates
As planned, the following payments will be processed (August 13th, 2025):
- Children of Veterans Tuition Grant
- Fostering Futures Scholarship
- Futures for Frontliners/Path 2
- MI Future Educator Fellowship
- MI Future Educator Stipend
- MI GEAR UP Scholarship
- Michigan Achievement Scholarship
- Michigan Competitive Scholarship
- Michigan Reconnect/Expansion
- Michigan Tuition Grant
- Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant
Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) 4th quarter payment will be slightly delayed (approximately 1 – 2 business days). We are working with the State Budget Office and the Legislature to authorize use of contingency funds to cover these requests and make payments as soon as possible. While we recognize the inconvenience of a delay, we are glad to see more students are enrolling on campus with the financial support from this scholarship. Thank you for your patience as we work with you on a revised payment timeline.
